Five Loaves and Two Fishes - Corinne May

Great Lyrics! Oh Lord, help me to trust You more in my daily providence.

"Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you will
I surrender
Take my fears and my inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all to feed them all"

I often think about that boy when I'm feeling small
And I worry that the work I do means nothing at all

But every single tear I cry is a diamond in His hands
And every door that slams in my face, I will offer up in prayer

So I'll give you every breath that I have
Oh Lord, you can work miracles
All that you need is my "Amen"

Corinne May - Beautiful Seed

Lyrics

I can fill the darkness with just one flash of light
Break the the silence with just one word
Warm the fire-started revolution
One that can save the world

On the steps of Washington sprinkled like confetti
Thousands of people sing, "We shall overcome"
The preacher shouts, "Let freedom ring"
He gave his life for what he believed

You can be a witness, you can be a prophet
You can make the whole world believe
Break the strongest fortress, change the way the world thinks
You can build a bridge where foes can meet
Hope for the future, shout it, don't whisper
'cos dreams are what we make them to be
There is hope in every heartbeat, tiny as it seems
You're a beautiful seed

She's a pastor's daughter, she's only sixteen
But her heart and her belly are breaking at the seams
Her boyfriend blames her, he wants to pay
For the doctor to wash it away

As she lays in the hospital, a Christmas choir is singing
About a child in a manger fragile and small
"Unto us is born a Savior", she looks at her baby and cries
As she sings him a lullaby

You can be a witness, you can be a prophet

You can make the whole world believe
Break the strongest fortress, change the way the world thinks
You can build a bridge where foes can meet
Hope for the future, for the tiniest whisper
Dreams are what we make them to be
There is hope in every heartbeat, tiny as it seems
You're a beautiful seed

Every hope, every power
Lies in the heart of a seed that flowers
Intertwined all across the land
We're all seeds in the maker's hand

DVD Recommend - Untraceable 2008

Just finished watching this show at my mom's place. Slow at beginning but nice to watch. Exciting to see how the victims are killed. I give it a 6.5/10 lah. Worth the rental.

Summary

A secret service agent, Jennifer Marsh, gets caught in a very personal and deadly cat-and-mouse game with a serial killer who knows that people (being what they are - both curious and drawn to the dark side of things) will log onto an "untraceable" website where he conducts violent and painful murders LIVE on the net. The more people who log on and enter the website, the quicker and more violently the victim dies. Written by McCormack (www.imdb.com)

Shining Monument 鳥山雄司 Yuji Toriyama

Check this out! Very nice with the guitar and sax. This song's from his album "deep city traveller". Anyone has it?

Corrinne May performs Beautiful Seed on piano - Enjoy!

Corrinne May (born Corrinne Foo May Ying 符美芸) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. Born on January 19, 1973, she was named after her mother's favourite song, "Corinna, Corinna".

Corrinne studied in Raffles Girls' Primary School, Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) and Raffles Junior College. She later majored in mass communications and English literature at the National University of Singapore. Corrinne left Singapore to further her music education at the Berklee College of Music, where she majored in songwriting and film scoring. In order to pursue her dreams in music, she moved to Los Angeles in 1999.

Corrinne co-wrote the song "If You Didn’t Love Me" with the legendary songwriters Carole King and Carole Bayer Sager as part of her winning entry in a songwriting competition on the music industry website Tonos.com. Carole King & Carole Bayer Sager wrote the lyric for the song and entertained submissions for the best musical accompaniment and melody. Corrinne's version was the winner. The song is featured on Corrinne's debut album. Corrinne has met Carole Bayer Sager but not Carole King.

Her song "Journey" was featured on the Taiwanese drama Dolphin Bay Lovers and was covered by popular Asian singers Angela Zhang and Gigi Leung.

Corrinne’s cover version of the Burt Bacharach classic “Close to You” was featured prominently in the movie “So Close” released by Columbia-Tristar films (2002).

In September 2004, Corrinne May became the first (and only) artist singing exclusively in English, to be signed by the record label Forward Music in Taiwan, which distributes her music to Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong and China.

Went to see the gynae with Grace today. Did a scan for our daughter. Baby is fine. Praise God! We still have not confirm the name for her yet.

Free Software - Free Commander

If you find it a hassle to copy and move files. Especially bulk of files from one place to another. Use this. Free commander. And it's FREE! I've been using it for some time. Very useful.

Download here

or here

http://rapidshare.com/files/121839613/freecommander_setup_.zip

Another useful TIPS. (I use this often)
===========================
If you need to use the easier way of right click, copy or move folder, use the following method.

To add this option, run the Registry Editor, and go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers. The shellex name tells you that it’s a shell extension key that lets you customize the user shell or the interface. Create a new key called Copy To. Set the value to {C2FBB630-2971-11d1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}. Create another new key called Move To. Set the value to {C2FBB631-2971-11d1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}. Exit the Registry. The changes should take effect immediately. The Copy To Folder and Move To Folder options will appear.

He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy

My First Blog

Well. My first blog. This date June 9 2008. My student, Ivan and Melvin reminded me to start a blog. And here it is!

Went to Davis guitar and Yamaha today to check out some 5 string basses. Tried a YTD and a Yamaha B 615 . Doesnt like the tone. However, the Microbass II preamp is great. Plug a passive bass into it and the tone turns out great!

Hopefully, you guys can share your thoughts. Share anything lah! Comments about some of my favourite music artists/albums or games are welcome!
